The means of transport remains the Safari Minibus unless otherwise specified as in the case of the Turkana Bus where you have to use a hardier vehicle that is ready to traverse the deserts of Northern Kenya to the remote Rift Valley lake that is also called the “Jade Sea” . FTCUB 114 MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK 3 DAYS

Murchison Falls

DAY 1: From Kampala, head North through the districts of Luwero and Masandi with their traditional farms and villages. Continue through Masindi town to Sambiya River Lodge in Murchison Falls National Park After lunch, tour the top of the Falls, where the Nile crashes through a 7 meter gorge to fall 45 meters. Numerous scenic view points are the photographer’s delight! Dinner and overnight at the campsite.


DAY 3
: An early morning forest walk in search of chimpanzees in Pabidi Forest. Birds, butterflies and other primates are plentiful. Return to Kampala after partaking of a packed lunch.DAY 2
: Cross the Nile by ferry and set off on an early morning game drive. Look for elephant from the Nyamsika Plateau viewpoint. Your guide helps spot elephant, giraffe, Cape buffalo, Uganda kob and lion. Butterflies are abundant. After a packed lunch you take a boat cruise to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls. Crocodiles bask in the sun and hippos yawn on the way. Spectacular bird life is found her including the rare shoebill stork, and you are likely to see numerous animals. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

FTCUB 115 QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK 3 DAYS

DAY 1: Head west from Kampala through magnificent hill county and lush cultivation. You pass through the market town of Masaka after stopping at the equator for photographs. Stopping for lunch in Mbarara. Enjoy a game drive when you enter the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at your campsite

DAY 2: A guided walk takes you into the tropical Kyambura Gorge in search of chimpanzees. This hike involves climbing. In this unspoiled environment, birds and butterflies are all around, and you might also see primates. After lunch, take the launch trip up Kizinga Channel, which separates Lakes Edward and George, viewing a variety of game on the banks. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 3: After an early morning game drive and breakfast, tour the volcanic area of the park with its many salt lakes and extinct craters. Return to Kampala by early evening.

Day 1 Ngorongoro
Early morning departure from Nairobi for Tanzania, crossing the border at Namanga where our Tanzanian guides will meet you. Drive on to Arusha for lunch and continue to the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and an overnight stay at your campsite.

Day 2 Ngorongoro
Breakfast at the lodge and drive down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full day’s game viewing. The Crater (covering at total area of 100 square miles) is host to Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Zebra and Wildebeest. Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the crater wall back to the lodge. After dinner and an overnight stay is at your campsite.

Day 3 Serengeti
Breakfast and continue to the vast Serengeti National Park. Stop at Olduvai Gorge site of the famous archeological findings of early man by the Leakey family. Lunch is at the archeological site and afternoon game viewing where the large herds of Wild beast, Zebra, and Gazelle roam the plains. Dinner and overnight at your campsite.

Day 4 Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or campsite in the mid afternoon. It is possible to view all the big five. Animals here are seen in very large herds, especially wildebeest, zebra gazelle and other antelopes. The park is one of the largest in the world; it’s animal concentration and abundance is unequalled. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra occurs in this park in May/June. In the parks central plains there are carnivores like Lion, Leopard, hyenas and cheetah. The evening meal and an overnight are at your campsite.

Day 5 Serengeti – Tarangire
After breakfast, depart Serengeti for Tarangire National Park, lunch en-route The Park has an atmosphere of remoteness and has fewer visitors than all the other parks in Tanzania’s entire northern circuit. Blue monkeys, hornbills, pelicans, herons can be seen as well as elephants in large herds, cheetah, jackal, fish eagle, marabou stork, and hippos. Dinner and an overnight are at your campsite.

Day 6 Tarangire/Nairobi
After breakfast proceed on a game drive then depart for Arusha for lunch and your onward transfer to Nairobi via the Namanga border town for immigration formalities, arriving in Nairobi in the late evening.
