DAY 1: Nairobi – Sweetwaters
After breakfast we depart the northwards to Sweetwaters Private Wildlife Ranch with its rare collection of wildlife, the only place in Kenya where the chimpanzee exist. After lunch the afternoon is spent game driving, watching these larger primates or camel riding. Dinner and overnight at the Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 2: Sweetwaters – Samburu
Early start driving north through sisal, pineapple and coffee plantations for Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Larsens’ Luxury Tented Camp. Afternoon game drive to flash out the animals that are to be found in this game sanctuary then back to the permanent tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Samburu
A pre-breakfast, mid-morning and afternoon game drive occupies most of the day as we search for the elusive leopard, the majestic african lion and the rare gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and other plains game. All meals and overnight at Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 4: Samburu – Nairobi
Leave the Samburu National Park with its diversity of wildlife after breakfast. Drive southwards past the equator to arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch.
