Some 40 kms from Tanzania mainland lies the mystical island of Zanzibar which boasts of vast kilometers of golden beaches. Zanzibar, which is also the name of the capital of this tropical paradise, is located on the western shores of the island; it was the ancient port of the Sultans of Oman in the 19th century. This city is a medina: the only of its kind south of the Equator. Carved doors and balconies decorate the houses, which are made of coral stone. Inland, the island is a Garden of Eden offering the most exquisite tropical species.

DAY ONE: NAIROBI - ZANZIBAR
Take a morning flight to the island of Zanzibar (also known as the "Spice Island' for its production of cloves). Transfer to the beach hotel, which will be your home for the next few days. Dinner and overnight.

DAY TWO: ZANZIBAR
A morning tour to stone town area. Dinner and overnight at beach hotel.

DAY THREE: ZANZIBAR
Optional Dolphin tour (at extra cost) to swim with the dolphins. Dinner and overnight at beach hotel.

DAY FOUR TO DAY SIX: ZANZIBAR
These days are spent at leisure with optional activities including - sailing, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and wind surfing.

DAY SEVEN: ZANZIBAR - NAIROBI
A visit to the central market and gift shops then take a flight back to Nairobi. After dinner at Carnivore - the meat eaters' paradise - proceed to airport for flight back home.

Day 1: Nairobi - Zanzibar
Air transfer Nairobi Zanzibar. Further transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Zanzibar City Tour and Jozani Forest
09.00 hours: City tour of the Museum, City Market, Old Slave Market, Livingstone House and House of Wonders. Walk through the narrow Stone Town streets.
12.00 hours: Lunch and back to hotel.
14.30 hours: Tour to Jozani Forest Reserve.
16.30 hours: Drive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Pemba Island and Chake Chake
06.00 hours: Transfer to airport for flight to Pemba (Green Island).
07.35 hours: Arrival in Pemba, transfer to hotel.
09.45 hours: Tour to Historical sites
10.15 hours: Drive back to Chake Chake.
11.30 hours: Boat trip to Exotic Island of Misali - Lunch, snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, etc.
17.30 hours: Boat trip back to Chake Chake and transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngezi Forest
08.00 hours: Drive through clove plantations and fruit farms to Ngezi Forest Reserve.
10.30 hours: Vuma Wimbi beach, relaxing, sunbathing and lunch.
14.00 hours: Drive back to hotel.
16.00 hours: Afternoon tea at hotel
17.00 hours: Transfer to airport and departure to Zanzibar.
17.30 hours: Arrival in Zanzibar and transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: East Coast
09.00 hours: Transfer to East Coast Hotel via Spice tour.
14.30 hours: Check in East Coast Hotel, lunch and leisure activities.

Day 7: Zanzibar - Nairobi
09.00 hours: Transfer to town for shopping and souvenir hunting.
12.30 hours: Lunch.
13.15 hours: Transfer to airport for departure to Nairobi.
18.45 hours: Dinner at Carnivore restaurant then continue to airport for flight back home.
