FCB - 312 TURKANA BUS/TURKANA EXPEDITION

DAY 1: NAIROBI/BARINGO
09.00 hours: Leave Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley for Lake Baringo, picnic Lunch en route. On arrival at the campsite pitch your tents then go for a boat ride at an extra cost. This is a fresh water Lake, which supports a great variety of birds as well as hippos and crocodiles. Indeed the Lake is reputed to be the bird watching centre of Kenya. Dinner overnight at the campsite.

DAY 2: BARINGO/SOUTH HORR
07.30 hours: Leave the campsite to one of the most isolated area lunch en route. 16.00 hours arriving at the South Horr campsite. Pitch the Tents along the river and meet the Local Samburu and the Turkana. Dinner overnight at the campsite.

DAY 3: SOUTH HORR/LOIYANGALANI
07.30 hours breakfast then descend to one of the most isolated part of Kenya where you will meet the smallest tribe in Kenya by the name EL MOLO. 12.00 hours arrive before lunch pitch the tents and go for walk around about the EL MOLO Village see their culture and take photographs at extra cost. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: LAKE TURKANA (LOIYANGALANI)
08.30 hours: Leave the campsite after breakfast to go to the Lake and see fishing activities along the JADE SEA. At midday we return to the campsite for lunch.In the afternoon. Clients have to go around Loiyangalani Primary School and see what kind of assistance the school might need - OPTIONAL).

DAY 5: LOIYANGALANI/MARALAL
07.30 hours: Leave the camp and descend about 250 km South of Lake Turkana arriving Maralal campsite before lunch. Pitch our tents and go around the Town and see the Local Samburu and the Rendile tribes. 1.00 hours come back for lunch at the campsite. Those interested can going to the lodge and have a cold beer at extra cost and others can go to the Disco also at extra cost. Dinner at the campsite.

DAY 6: MARALAL/SAMBURU
07.30 hours: Early morning breakfast then drive about 145 km South of Maralal to Samburu National Park arriving before lunch. Lunch at the campsite.
16.00 hours: After lunch proceed for after noon game drive in search of the elusive leopard, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx, and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 7 and DAY 8: SAMBURU
06.30 hours: Proceed for early morning game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast.
10.30 hours: After breakfast proceed for a further game drive. Lunch at the campsite.
16.00 hours: After lunch a final game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 9: SAMBURU/MT. KENYA
07.30 hours: Early morning breakfast then drive down via Isiolo about 125-km south to Mt. Kenya arriving before 12.00 o'clock. Set up the camp and have hot showers at the campsite. Rest of the day at the leisure then lunch at the campsite.
07.00 hours: Dinner at the camp and later go for MWOMBOKO TRADITIONAL DANCE

DAY 10: MT. KENYA/NAIROBI
8.30 hours: Breakfast then drive South of Mt. Kenya Lunch en route arriving Nairobi around 2.30 pm.

DAY 1: NAIROBI/MAASAI MARA
10.00 hours: Leave Nairobi via the Great Valley for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, picnic lunch en route. On arrival proceed for a game drive in search of black manned lion, elephants, leopard and cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 and DAY 3: MAASAI MARA
Game drives before and after breakfast and after lunch in our special nine or fifteen seater minibus.

DAY 4: MAASAI MARA/LAKE NAKURU (Flamingoes)
08.30 hours: After breakfast leave Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch en route. On arrival proceed for game drives round Lake Nakuru to view Flamingoes, water buck, buffaloes etc. The flamingoes at Lake Nakuru are often described as the "WORLDS GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE". After bird and game viewing check into a hotel with private shower/toilet. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU/ NAIROBI/AMBOSELI
After a leisurely breakfast leave for Nairobi, stopping at the Great Rift Valley for a panoramic view, before continuing to Amboseli. Picnic lunch en route.
16.00 Hours: Proceed for a game drive in search of cheetah, rhinos, elephants, and also plenty of plains game, with the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the back ground. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI
06.30 Hours: Proceed for early morning pre-breakfast game drives. Return to the camp for breakfast.
10.30. Hours: After breakfast proceed for further game drives. Lunch at the Campsite. After lunch a short siesta or if the lodge permits we will take you for a swim and shower (extras).
16.00 Hours: Further game drives. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 7: AMBOSELI/TSAVO WEST
08.00 hours: After breakfast leave Amboseli Game Reserve for Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the campsite.
15.000 hours: Further game drives. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 8: TSAVO WEST/TSAVO EAST
08.00 hours: After breakfast proceed for a further game drive and also a visit to the Mzima Springs where hippos and varied fish are seen swimming in the clear waters. Lunch at the campsite.14.00 hours: After lunch, leave for Tsavo East, arriving in time for dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 9: TSAVO EAST/NAIROBI
Transfer back to Nairobi after breakfast.
